Fluoro polymer is a class of synthetic rubbers designed for high temperature application. It provides extraordinary levels of resistance to chemicals, heat and oil, while providing useful service life above 200°C. This polymer may be more expensive than others however its resistance to chemicals results in a more durable and long-wearing product.

cally porous polymers starts with the preparation of a precur-sor solution of P(VdF-HFP) (polymer) and water (non-solvent) in acetone (solvent) (Fig. 1A). We apply a film onto a substrate and dry it in air. The rapid evaporation of the vola-tile acetone causes the P(VdF-HFP) to phase-separate from the water, which forms micro- and nanodroplets.

4) Chain-reactions normally afford polymers with high molecular weights, i.e., 104-107. 5) Polymers can be obtained that contain secondary chains (branches) attached to the main chain (backbone). For example, free radicals sometimes abstract hydrogens from a formed polymer chain, thereby generating new free radicals along the backbone

The most important primary sources of synthetic polymers are crude oil, natural gas and, to a minor extent, coal. Because all are primarily fuels rather than sources of materials, the manufacture of polymers is susceptible to changes in price or supply. However, this is also true of other materials...
